Food Recall Warnings and Allergy Alerts
When there is reason to believe that food is contaminated or does not meet the standards set out by the federal government, Canada's regulatory agency, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA), will investigate and recall the product if necessary.
Recalls are classified based on the level of health risk associated with the food being recalled. The following is a list of the most recent public advisories for high-risk food recalls with distribution across Canada.
